AIA MyCare Benefits – Summary

As part of your AIA Employee Benefits Policy, you receive access to AIA MyCare at no additional cost. AIA MyCare is a virtual care service offered in partnership with Teladoc Health which assists your Wellbeing with access to experts in the medical and wellbeing areas.

Included Services

You can access the following professional support services:

1. Expert Medical Opinion

Second medical opinion from global clinical specialists across a wide range of conditions—from serious illnesses (e.g. cancer, cardiovascular) to persistent or chronic issues (e.g. migraines, back pain, dermatology)

2. Ask a GP

Submit basic medical or procedural questions online. A New Zealand–based GP responds in writing.  . 

3. Ask a Mental Health Clinician

Submit confidential general mental health questions online and receive expert feedback in writing.

4. Mental Health Navigator

For a comprehensive review, a team of registered NZ mental health professionals (nurse, psychiatrist, psychologist) engages via video to assess and often revise your treatment plan. Support continues with a dedicated contact for guidance through your journey.

5. Wellbeing Consults

Access to credentialed dietitians, exercise physiologists or fitness professionals to support goals like weight, nutrition, recovery, mobility, or chronic-condition wellbeing.

Annual Benefit Limits

No limit or costs in using AIA My Care.  It also extends to use by your immediate family: partner (spouse/civil/de facto), children (any age), and parents (including in-laws).

Confidentiality

These services are entirely independent of your employer. All consultations remain private and confidential.
