Unlimited Online GP Consults with CareHQ
As part of your Southern Cross policy, you have access to free, unlimited online GP consults throughCareHQ. Available 7am–7pm, 7 days a week, you can book a 10 or 15 minute video call with a GP—usually within 24–48 hours. CareHQ doctors can provide referrals, order tests, recommend treatments, and send prescriptions (including repeats) directly to your chosen pharmacy. Book easily through the My Southern Cross app.
Free Annual Health Check with MedPro
If you’re a Southern Cross member aged 16 or over, you’re entitled to a free 30-minute health check with a registered nurse through MedPro. The check-up includes a cholesterol breakdown, blood sugar and diabetes risk assessment, blood pressure, BMI, waist measurement, stress and mental wellbeing screening, family history review, lifestyle advice, and a personalised MedPro My Results booklet.
