Here’s a quick, no-nonsense guide for the Gym Tracker (Pulse style).
You must be signed in to Pulse. If you’re not signed in, the tool won’t save to your profile.
At a glance
Weekly Goal: Set your target gym visits per week and see your current streak.
Add Session: Log a new workout (date/time, notes, exercises).
This Week: See all sessions for the selected week, with Duplicate and Delete actions.
Export CSV: Download your recent sessions as an Excel file.
1) Set your weekly goal
In Weekly Goal, type how many visits per week you’re aiming for (e.g., 3).
Click Save Goal.
You’ll see This week: X / Y visits and a Streak counter (how many consecutive weeks you hit the goal).
2) Add a new session
Go to Add Session.
Date & time: Leave as “now” or choose a past date/time.
Notes (optional): e.g., “Push day” or “felt strong”.
Add exercises:
Enter Exercise (e.g., “Bench Press”), Sets, Reps, and optional Weight (kg).
Click Add Exercise. It appears in the mini table below.
To remove an entry before saving, click Remove beside it.
Click Save Session.
The session is stored to your profile and appears in This Week.
3) Duplicate a previous session (fast logging)
In This Week, find the session you want to copy.
Click Duplicate.
All its exercises (and notes) are copied into Add Session.
The date/time is set to now, so you can tweak sets/reps/weight and Save Session quickly.
4) Navigate the week view
Use « Prev and Next » to move between weeks.
The orange pill shows progress for the week you’re viewing, compared to your saved goal.
Click Delete on a session if you need to remove it.
5) Export your data
Click Export CSV to download a spreadsheet of recent workouts (last ~90 days).
Open it in Excel/Sheets for personal tracking or sharing.
Tips
Mobile-friendly: Everything stacks on small screens; big buttons are tap-ready.
Minimum data: You only need one exercise to save a session (exercise, sets, reps).
Editing a saved session: Duplicate → adjust → Save Session; then delete the original if needed.
Streaks: The tool checks consecutive past weeks where your session count ≥ goal.
Troubleshooting
“Sign-in required” when saving: Log in first, then retry.
Nothing appears under “This Week”: Check the week range with the week navigation; make sure the session date is correct.
Progress/Streak isn’t updating: Click Save Goal again to refresh, or reload the page.
